Nicholas Yee
Nicholas’ research focuses on the genomic epidemiology and evolution of Panton-Valentine Leukocidin (PVL)-negative Community-associated Methicillin-resistant S. aureus (CA-MRSA) in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. Using whole genome sequencing alongside phenotypic and molecular approaches, his work investigates the diversity, evolution, and transmission of key CA-MRSA clones, with a focus on understanding resistance mechanisms and their public health impact.
